In the ruins of a satellite city of Chernobog, a team consisting of Meteorite, Frostleaf, and Jessica are carrying out an exploration mission.

Back at the bridge of Rhodes Island, Amiya bids a temporary farewell to her friends from Blacksteel and Penguin Logistics.

In the ruins, Meteorite's team encounters Reunion forces remaining behind in the city.

After reporting in with Kal'tsit, the team continues their mission. Frostleaf notices that there is something abnormal about the temperature.

In the slums, Amiya meets an Infected child, whose liveliness once against gives her pangs of indecision.

She also runs into Ch'en, but this Ch'en has a look in her eyes that is nothing like that of the person she knows.

After reuniting with the Doctor, Amiya seems to have changed. Though still confused, she seems to have a clearer direction.

Shortly afterwards, they receive a message from Kal'tsit, notifying them that something has just happened.

In the ruins of the abandoned city, Meteorite's team encounters a unique Reunion squad.

This team is likely responsible for the sudden drop in temperature, reminding Frostleaf of a legend she heard about the mythical 'Yetis.'

After exchanging information with Ch'en, Amiya proposes a joint operation with the L.G.D., Ch'en quickly shoots down her proposal.

At this time, Jessica sends a message, stating that they've found two Reunion leaders - Mephisto and Faust.

After being discovered, Meteorite's team tries to fight back but are ruthlessly suppressed by Mephisto while the Yeti Squad closes in.

With the situation looking hopeless, Frostleaf issues a dire warning to Amiya — stay away.

Meteorite's team was not the only one that was attacked. The other recon squads had all been attacked.

After the battle, Ch'en is already nowhere to be seen.

Given the risks posed by operating in an Originium-rich environment, Amiya leads Rhodes Island deeper into the city after communicating with Hoshiguma, having the L.G.D. stay on the periphery to serve as support.

Being able to find traces of battle left behind by Meteorite's team is slightly reassuring, but the information that Kal'tsit brings is a mix of good and bad news.

The group continues to advance, and Kal'tsit seems to have a plan of her own.

The team finally locates Ch'en and persuades her to return to the L.G.D.

Ch'en and Hoshiguma set out to rescue the informant, Ah Faat.

Though Ch'en and Hoshiguma move quickly, they are still one step too late.

Saying his last words, Ah Faat slowly closed his eyes.

Ch'en and Hoshiguma arrive at the location indicated by the intelligence and plan out their next action.

The two spring to action after discovering Reunion activity.

After defeating the Reunion members there, Ch'en realizes that she has come to her old home.

Ch'en reflects upon past events, but her mood soon improves as she gains some more clues.

Reunion forces occupying a mall in Lungmen are wary that things are perhaps going a bit too well.

But before their doubts have a chance to sink in, the L.G.D. is already mounting a counterattack.

The L.G.D. makes quick work of the enemies in front of them, but an enemy caster suddenly blows up the ground beneath Ch'en's feet.

Ch'en plummets down the tall building.

Ch'en regains consciousness to see Hoshiguma protecting her from broken walls and rubbles. Though she is saved, both of them have sustained heavy injuries.

Facing the enemy onslaught, the two draw their weapons once more.

Aftering relaying Hoshiguma's position to the medic team, Ch'en continues to move forward.

She communicates with her subordinates and Swire before taking her forces towards the L.G.D. Headquarters.

The state of Reunion's presence in the L.G.D. Headquarters seems strange, but that is not enough to stop the L.G.D.'s advance.

Mephisto has been waiting for them on the roof.

At first glance, Mephisto appears to be cornered. But with just a few words, the entire situation is turned on its head.

Despite the sudden shift in fortunes, Ch'en still has a back-up plan—

Chi Xiao finally is unsheathed, and the scales tip in the L.G.D.'s favor once more.

However, a momentary slip in focus causes Chi Xiao to rampage out of control. Just then, Rhodes Island arrives at the critical moment.

The grand entrance of Rhodes Island's elite operator, Blaze, quickly turns the battle one-sided. Seeing that nothing else can be done, Faust pulls Mephisto from the battlefield.

And thus, another situation draws to an end.

Rhodes Island and the L.G.D. officially begin their campaign against Reunion.

Elsewhere in Lungmen, Blaze stands against a squad of Reunion members.

Blaze dispatches of the enemy and groups up with Amiya. With her is GreyThroat, an operator who Blaze seems to have some bad blood with.

Elsewhere, Ch'en and Swire fight side-by-side again.

The old memories that GreyThroat stirred up cause Blaze to have second thoughts.

However, the top priority is to deal with Reunion.

After resolving the issue with Reunion, Blaze presses forward with the Doctor.
